Catherine Eager

Catherine A. Eager, BSN, RNC, ETN, CWS is an Enterostomal Therapist and a board certified wound specialist. She also has ANCC certification in gerontology. She is a member of WOCN and the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care. Catherine has been a consultant in the wound and skin care arena since 1987. In 1988, she founded Wound Care Protocols, Inc., a wound and skin care consulting and education firm. In 1995, she established an outpatient division of Wound Care Protocols, Inc. called Innovative Wound Management Services. Innovative Wound Management Services currently has an office in Oregon City with outreach sites in Portland, Oregon.

Catherine has developed and presents seminars throughout the Northwest on wound care and the needs of the elderly population. She is a member of the faculty of Walla Walla College, instructing third and fourth year nursing students in wound care. She has authored several manuals on topics related to elderly care, including protocols for wound care. She has been on the planning committee for the Annual Symposium on Advanced Wound Care & Medical Research Forum on Wound Repair for the past two years.
